ProDough’s First Big Flex: Dessert-Level Protein Goes Out-of-Home

Protein marketing usually looks like it’s trying way too hard: intense fonts, intimidating athletes, and powders that taste… well, like protein—with a hint of “kind of vanilla, maybe?” if you’re lucky. ProDough said, nah, we can do better—and then actually did.

And when we say better, we mean holy-wow-are-you-kidding-me good. We tried it expecting the usual chalky sadness and instead got chocolate mousse, raspberry cheesecake, and sugar cookie that could hold its own in a bakery. We legit checked the label twice to make sure it was still protein powder. It’s that kind of shocking.

The Concept: Dessert Energy, Gym Cred

The creative had to match that vibe: fun, crave-worthy, and just a little cheeky. We mashed up familiar protein cues—scoops, shaker cups, packets—with bold flavor moments to visually scream, “this isn’t something you choke down after a workout—this is something you look forward to.”

Why OOH and Why Now?

A lot of e‑commerce and DTC brands hit a point where they feel like they’ve graduated—they’ve built momentum online, and now it’s time to plant a flag in the real world. Out-of-home does exactly that. It’s like saying, we’re not just an Instagram ad anymore—we’re real, and you can’t scroll past us.

For ProDough, that meant using Blip’s self‑serve digital billboard network—a flexible, startup‑friendly way to get their message in front of real-world audiences quickly and at scale.

Why It Matters

Protein doesn’t have to taste like protein. ProDough proves it can be good for you and shockingly delicious. And if your commute suddenly has you craving dessert? That’s no accident.

ProDough’s changing the way people see protein—and we were thrilled to help them take that story to the streets.
