When your Montana’s largest credit union, you don’t whisper to your audience. You use advertising’s equivalent of the megaphone—billboards. And lots of ’em. But that’s not enough. The messaging has to speak to each location, in each city, no matter where they are—because billboards, even for state-wide institutions, still remain a local experience. Which is why Whitefish Credit chose to cast their campaign lines in multiple directions.
Campaign Callback:
Performance Payoff: This one got people talkin’. Social media, check. Overwhelming attendance at the Missoula branch grand opening, check. Sign-ups for the branch-sponsored outdoor meet-and-greets, check. A local comedian working the campaign into their set, check.
Side Story: Ryan is real. This campaign coincided with his very real move to Missoula. This detail might never have been known to us, had we not visited the branch in person to meet the team.

Side Story: When we were hatching these copy lines, we kept putting them aside. We’d say, “Oh, they’re two punny. Ditch it.” That was of course, until we discovered—they’re not puns at all. They’re malaprops. So, A-OK if someone were to turn their nose up at puns. Looks it up.
